Things you never knew...

Have you ever stopped to consider why people don't care about the little, obvious facts about life? Have you ever actually taken an interest in those types of things? Have you been shocked when someone has told you anything that you never knew before but could of known if you paid attention? Like how were unable to say the letter "M" without having our lips touch, or how if you plug your nose you can't hum... Probably not because you never stopped to realize this before. No one cares enough about the small things in life but when you become aware of it then you realize, hey! that is sooo cool!!! Why didn't i realize this before?

Prom! Is it a Waste of Time? or the Time of your Life?

Ahh, the "right of passage", the "high school tradition", the "party of a lifetime". Is prom really these things? Or is it a complete waste of time and money. For some prom is the something that all children (mostly females) dream about all through the hard years of middle and high school. But after all that and when you finally reach that moment of having to hand over money to pay for all of this, you wonder, WOW I am spending an arm and a leg for one night. Just one night....But in that night you start to think, this is the last time i am ever going to spend with these people, my high school friends, my people all together. In my opinion i think that it is definitely way over exaggerated, but i think it is definitely worth it to spend time with people you truly care about, doesn't matter where, or how much, i always put emphasis on the fact that we are all together.

Osama Binladdin?? Ultimate Hide and Seek Champion!!!

Osama Binladdin brought the childhood game of hide and seek to a whole new level, he has bascially rediversified the whole game by holding the longest record of never being found 2001-2011 10 YEARS!!!!. But in all fairness, I believe that the capturing of this criminal was all a hoax or a publicity stunt if you will. As you see he was sick, practically dying since 1982 and if he was "dying" then he couldn't survive in those hills he would of died of natural causes. So my theory is that he really wasn't captured, but rather found dead years ago and keeping his body with the C.I.A. for when the new President needed so good PR. Don't get me wrong I am completely happy that they caught him and that he's finally dead and gone. But since theres no proof i do not believe that he was really exicuted by the United States Navy.

Gaming in School ?

So the schools will band Cell phones, MP3's and lazer pens but they won't band something that is the most distracting....VIDEO GAMES!!!!. Mostly meaning PSP's, DS's and laptops which can be used for gaming. It seems strange that one of the most distracting things are not band but rather said "we are not responsible for the whereabouts of these items, if you so choose to have them in school". hmmmmmm seems strange!

GOOD looks catch the eye but a GOOD personality catches the heart!!!

SOO nowadays its not just enough to be a good looking person, but you need to be good looking on  the inside and out. That concept would stink for the people that are just a pretty face, but for the fortunate people that are a pretty face and soul (a thing I like to call the Combo-Platter). I think that the pretty soul has always been what is "beautiful" about a person for a  really long time, but what changed that is the hype and the hooplah! of a pretty face. It seems asthough that people could careless about the people that aren't attractive to the eye, but everyone is fascinated with someone that is just a little more genetically fortunate then everyone else. That ties into the whole theory of "Don't judge a book by its cover" concept. But maybe thats the concept that needs to be revived....

April Fools!!!!

The first of April which is known to the world as April Fools Day. A day filled with the Right to pull immature, stupid and completely hilarious pranks!! But have you ever thought "can I or have I gone too far?" Is there a prank out there that is sooo outrageous that you can ruin a relationship or a family? a job? or a memory? As a matter a fact there are suck pranks. They are the pranks that involve personal aspects. SO my advice......Stick to the fun loving "kick me" signs, whoopie cushions and all that fun loving stuff and leave the serious stuff to the professionals.

The underestimated teenager

These days, kids aren't just kids anymore. Within the last century society has created a new being called the 'teenager' they gave that alward stage between adolescent adult a name. Teenagers have way to many expectations, they are wanted to be geniuses and well rounded, tech savvy and athletic, tough but still does everything that is asked of them. Basically we are everything and nothing all at once. In attempt to be all of those things, we all get in way over our heads and end up doing some of these common things: Not sleeping to finish work, Not eating to save time, Trying your hardest to please and to not let down those who want your help.... and so on. So in conclusion we put aside everything we need and want in order to accomplish tasks that are impossible for one person to do.....we are superheroes!

Its never just a simple boy girl relationship anymore

In the past it used to be so simple. Boy meets girl, Girl meet boys, fall in love and then your trapped in a 40 -50 yr marriage where society dictates how you are supposed to live. But now it is a whole different game. We teenagers like play something called "the game" or in lamens terms, the mind game. How to play? you make the other person think that you do not want them, when the truth is that you really do (ouu shocker), and to amp  up this game you add other players known as the temps, the people that you use to make the other person jealous and think "OMG he/she doesn't need me BUT! I still want them". This game has progressed soo much over the years that it almost appears as a second nature too most, so that they do not even realize they play, and those people are known as the MVPS. Sadly the only way to finish the game is to either win or lose, BUT winning really never happens in this game, only occasionally. Losing on the other hand is the easier track, brought on by confusion, lack of commitment, complete success in the jealousy round so much so that the victim actually calls the bluff and MOVES ON!, or the most common way to lose, your finally admit defeat and you give up the game and you give in to the other person. GAME ON!!!!

IS THE WORLD REPLICATING ?????

Now tell me something, Why is it that we are seeing people that look exactly the same? Or atleast resemble each other???? Just like these two; American Idol 2011(top 10 girls) and bottom Selena Gomez (Wizards of Waverly Place). Now these two are not completely identical, but they do resemble each other. My theory of this is that the world has created the maximum amount of rearrangement of faces so now, we have to start repeating gods creations to look like already exsisting people. OR they could be family!! I like my theory better though...

Are We Being Trained for Marriage ?

Marriage is something that everyone has a different opinion about. Men want a women that treats them like their mothers do but do even more.... Women are subconsciously trained by their parents to be good housewives in the future, by giving them demeaning roles in the household of cleaning and cooking but what they don't know is that they are actually being trained for the coveted role of THE HOUSEWIFE!

No it is not racial profiling and no it is not "tradition" it is all about conditioning! Like how girls are trained to wear dresses, that is the norm. In some European countries young boys wear dresses til the age of 5, see over here we would see that as odd but it isn't to them they see that as normal because that is how they were raised. You can actually train your child to be exactly the way you would like. Crazy right?

Working Under Pressure

So  lately I have found that I have taken a whole world of tasks on my shoulders. I have spread myself way too thin and I'm actually paying for it now in sleep!!! My question to you is; why is that High School students choose to take on so many tasks and feel asthough they can produce top work without having any of the tasks tainted? I know with me, I take on a lot of stuff and possibly one or two of those tasks turn out, to say the least...as great as I would of hoped for. I think that this isn't just a personal feeling I believe that students, High School, College and University feel this way aswell. It is called anxiety disorder, and it is something that affects students in their late teens and early twenties all face. Its brought on by people making us feel asthough we need to be the best at everything that we do, and having them also holding high expectations for us. It is that fear that we can't do it and disappointnig the people that we "promised" that we would do it that strikes fear into your mind. I wonder if other nations teenagers feel it aswell, maybe even more then we do. I also believe that it is also brought on by the media aswell. I mean look at the teenagers that you see on televison, they all have it together, top grades, extra curriculars and high achievers, and they all get 8-10 hours of sleep and look GREAT! everyday. its the picture in your mind that says; Maybe I can have everything. The media decieves us into thinking that and what we don't see in the TV personalities is what they are really like under pressure. Maybe instead of creating stupid shows like Jersey Shore and shows about Wizards and regular teens by day and Pop-Stars by night they should make a show about the way a teenager really is... That is a show i would actually watch!

The Torture that is Late Night Television

So it is about 12:17 in the morning and i am just sitting here in my living room and watching some television while trying to complete some late night homework when I stopped and thought about how awful late night television has become. I mean it is like they have ran out of shows to create like everything has been done and thought of (that is why they created sequels:P). The show i am currently watching is a show called "Majority Rules" and its about a teenager that gets elected to be the major of a small town and she does that while attending high school. I personally find the show completely stupid and pointless. Then I thought about a lot of the other "new" shows that have come out lately and I thought about "Modern Family" and this animated series called "Fish Hooks" (yes i watch a lot of TV) and i was just thinking about how the concept of these shows are pointless. "Modern Family" takes a look into the psychological affects of the modern families; the divorced couples, a homosexual couple and a two parent household with 2.5 children. It basically shows you how they go through life and deal with thing that happen. "Fish Hooks" on the other hand is there purely for entertainment purposes because it is just about 3 fish and you follow them through ridiculous situations living in a fish tank in a pet store...Really?? It seems to me that we've completely ran out of ideas and are in desperate need of an epiphany!

Technology is the new Norm

It astonishes me how technology has progressed to the point where we don't have to see anyone anymore, your never in the same room with people anymore. It seems as though that there is technological substitute for everything nowadays. To go a party you can just go on a site called www.livestream.com where you can chat with people you've never met(which you do when you go to parties) and then also watch people put on a show (mostly dj's showing off there skills), and listen to music. If you feel like talking face to face with people without even leaving your couch you can go to a site called www.tinychat.com where you can show yourself on your webcam and others do the same, there is also skype! Honestly we do not need to go anywhere anymore. If you want to date you go join eharmony and let a website and probably match up with some random other lonely, lazy person that didn't want to go out. Literally everything is based around your computer. Want food = order online, want to shop = shop online!, want to interact with people = facebook, twitter, MSN, skype, tinychat, want to be entertained = youtube!!! There is no reason to go outside anymore or even be face to face with someone and that is just amazingly sad. Yes there are upsides to being online instead of in person because you can edit everything to your liking but if you really think about it then does anyone know anyone anymore then? It is so much easier to be lied to cyberly, case and point wikipedia!
